Project Pink

Project Pink is a community event to help create awareness for girls and women.  Its a project, Jenny (me) with Jschomaker photography has dreamed up. I was inspired by a fellow photographer, Erica Mounts located in Seattle who founded "Project Pink", she initially had the concept of photo shoots to help girls and women be comfortable with themselves.   To foster good self esteem with what ever shape or size they were.  Unfortunately, her system was hacked into and everything was lost.  I spoke to her about doing something similar here and she gave me the ok.  So, with that said, I have taken it a step further and will be putting a  large community event together to help bring a sense of belonging back.

We all are so busy these days and its so nice to just take some time to all support and reach out for a cause.  A certain cause, that will in fact change generations and make the world a better place. Hence "Project Pink" is born!

My background is in Marketing, Sales, and Event Management so this is right down my alley. However, I was diagnosed with Spasmodic Dysphonia last year.  Its a neurological disorder that effects the vocal cords like Parkinson's.  So , my voice goes in and out and I have no control over it.  I have enlisted the help of several well qualified people to help get this event organized and carried out.  We will be listing those people very soon in case you need to get a hold of any of them.
